His real name was Marshall Bruce Mathers III, and he was born 10/17/1975 in St. Joseph, Missouri. His mom, Debbie Briggs-Mathers, gave birth to him at 15 aqnd his father left soon after that. According to Eminem's lyrics his mom abused himas well as used a surplus of drugs. He also says he hates her and, currently, does not know where she lives. Marshall was 12 years old when his mom finally stopped moving around and settled down in detroit. After failing 9th grade 3 times he decided to drop out and pursue rapping. He began rapping using his initials "M & M" which later evolved into eminem. He started at 14 and began to grow into the rap game at 17. He was always good at english and found a way to release his anger though his rap.
He released his first albumn, Infinite, in 1995 which was not very popular. He went on the release the real slim shady Lp and continued to release more up until now. He now has become one of the most popular rappers up til today and is about to release Marshall Mathers LP 2 on november 5.
